The problem

An order took about three weeks to get from yes to delivered. No system tracked when an order needed to be fulfilled, and nothing tied inventory or purchase orders to the day it had to ship.

What I did

I redesigned the path from quote to cash, start to finish. The business moved onto a new ERP, a new warehouse system, and new sales software, and I trained the warehouse, sales, and operations teams on all three.

What changed

Delivery went from about three weeks to seven days or less. Cash flow rose 15% quarter over quarter and about 30% year over year. Less inventory sat unsold.

Stuck somewhere between order and cash?

Bring the messiest part. That’s usually where I’d start anyway.

I’ll tell you plainly if I’m the wrong person for it.
